Tristan Norman is a Rotary Global Scholar for the Environment from the United States of America. He is studying for an MSc in Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Adaptation at Lund University in Sweden.
He is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, Global Policy, Diplomacy, Sustainability (GPODS) fellow, and part of the British American Security Information Council's (BASIC) Emerging Voices Network. Tristan has previously worked as a Programs Officer at Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) Tokyo, focused on climate and sustainability.
His research interests include EU-NATO relations, civil & total defense, disaster risk management, compound & cascading climate risks, and climate, peace & security in fragile and conflict-affected areas.
