Ms López Bremme is a Program Assistant at the Institute of Security and Global Affairs for the Advanced MSc International Relations and Diplomacy programme between Leiden University and the Clingendael Institute in The Netherlands.
She is a Member of the Environment, Climate, Conflict and Peacebuilding (ECCP) Community of Practice. She is actively involved in supporting the network and promotion of learning and knowledge exchange.
She is also a Project Officer and Moderator with the Young Afghan Women’s Movement, co-organizing and facilitating the YAWM's Solidarity Conversations on youth, peace, security, gender and activism.
In 2024 she earned a double MA in International Relations specialized in Global Conflict in the Modern Era & Culture and Politics at Leiden University. The Double MA Thesis was on how the climate crisis can catalyze armed conflict leading to forced displacement, linking it to ecocide and creating an interdisciplinary causal model. The paper is in the process of publication.
Previous work includes Interning at Oxfam Novib (in The Hague) on ESG Advocacy, being the President and Social Chair of the International Studies Student Association, and Conference Rapporteur on Climate and Conflict at The Hague Humanity Hub.
