Bozhidara Kiryakova holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations in the Security and Defence Sector from the Rakovski National Defence College, Sofia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. Bozhidara’s professional background includes multicultural communication, risk communication, strategic communications, and linguistics. Currently, she is a Concept Development and Experimentation Expert at the Crisis Management and Disaster Response Centre of Excellence (CMDR COE). Bozhidara’s thematic portfolio covers societal resilience, cognitive influence, civil-military cooperation, crisis and risk management, strategic and risk communications, human resources and project management.
Bozhidara has published articles on Civilian and Military Synergies in Disaster Relief (2022), Communicating Strategically to Enhance Resilience against Disinformation (2022), and The Significance of Risk Communication for Achieving Societal Resilience through Civil Preparedness (2022).
